PatchMaker activation

After installing the full version of PatchMaker, you will be asked to walk through an activation procedure that involves furnishing you registration data and a special machine code of the workstation which is to run PatchMaker. Product activation must be done for each computer and each user individually. The license agreement limits the number of allowed product activations to one.

When you start the full PatchMaker version for the first time, an activation dialog with five required fields will appear:

The Machine Code field is always filled in automatically and contains a code that identifies your hardware. In the example above, it is 6556-769A. You have to send this machine code to our user support service at code(at)PatchMaker.net along with

• your user name,

• your company name, and

• your email address.

We ensure preserving confidentiality of all supplied data. You will receive an activation code allowing you to run the PatchMaker on the indicated computer.

Please do not make typos when filling in the activation dialog fields, paying attention to whitespaces, punctuation, and character case. The identification data you sent should match exactly what you type here:

When finished, click Ok. The program needs to be restarted for entered data to take effect, as indicated by the corresponding message:

Then, start PatchMaker again. If no typos were made when filling in the activation dialog, it will never appear again. Otherwise, check carefully all fields and correct all typos.
